GREINER CONSTRUCTION RECOGNIZED FOR EXEMPLARY COMMUNITY SERVICE
August 2005, Minneapolis, MN - Greiner Construction will receive a special Community Service Award in August from Homeward Bound, a nonprofit which operates 16 homes for people with disabilities in the Western suburbs. The award pays tribute to Greiner Construction's "dedicated commitment to volunteer service" at a public ceremony August 2.

Former Viking Matt Blair Presents Award
The award will be presented by Matt Blair, former Minnesota Vikings All-Pro, and Homeward Bound CEO Don Priebe, at Homeward Bound's ninth annual golf fundraiser at Legends Golf Club in Prior Lake.

"We want to recognize Greiner Construction's generous support over the years," said Priebe. "Beyond financial support, the firm takes on projects every year that directly improve the lives of the people with disabilities who live in our homes. Everyone benefits from this kind of inspired community philanthropy."

Employees Complete Backyard Improvements
This year's project is a privacy fence and garden furniture for the backyard of Independence House in Golden Valley. The project complements Greiner Construction's 2003 addition of a handicap-accessible sidewalk and patio at Independence House.

"We consider it a privilege to give back to the community which has been so good to us for the last 15 years," said Wolfgang Greiner, president of the high-end interiors construction firm founded in 1989. "Our contributions are part of our long-standing commitment to rebuilding the community from the inside out."
